Update your economic calendars.

Non-farm payrolls will now be released Wednesday, Nov 11 and CPI will be released Friday, Nov 13. The JOLTS report will be released tomorrow, Feb 5.

The US government shutdown ended yesterday afternoon but not before delaying some economic data that was due this month.

The early indications on the upcoming jobs report worsened today. The ADP employment report showed just 22K jobs created compared to 48K expected. The employment component of the ISM services report was also soft at 50.3 vs 52.3 expected and 52.0 previously.

On top of that, economists are expecting a large downward benchmark revision to 2025 employment.
